The physical infrastructure of Kendriya Vidyalaya IOC Noonmati is currently undergoing a significant and much-needed upgrade, made possible by the steadfast support of our sponsoring authority, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Guwahati Refinery. Recognizing the importance of a safe and modernized educational environment, IOCL has initiated a comprehensive project focusing on major electrical and civil maintenance across the Vidyalaya campus.
Scope of the Project:
The ongoing maintenance drive is divided into two primary areas of focus:
Electrical Strengthening: The project involves the complete repairing and strengthening of the building’s electrical wiring. This upgrade replaces aging electrical circuits, optimizes power load distribution to better support our modern computer labs and interactive teaching aids, and strictly adheres to modern safety standards to eliminate fire and electrical hazards.
Civil Maintenance: Alongside the electrical work, comprehensive civil maintenance is being executed. This includes structural repairs, masonry upkeep, and weatherproofing efforts designed to address standard wear and tear.
Objectives and Impact
The core objective of this initiative is the holistic betterment of the Vidyalaya. The civil repairs are specifically targeted at improving the overall life and structural integrity of the school building, ensuring it remains robust for years to come. Simultaneously, the electrical overhaul guarantees a hazard-free, technologically ready campus.
